Hi Gillian – read your comment on Chris’s post about Hotels missing a trick when it comes to social marketing and remembering that you stayed with them before.

I can,t believe I never got the alert when you posted this comment on my blog last year …… I feel so bad about that. I hope you read that I have responded to you. I recall a few years ago I was waiting in line to check in at a large hotel in Toronto and the girl kept taking phone calls so in desperation I called the hotel and asked to speak to her (she was wearing a name badge) and told her I’M standing in front of you m noe concentrate on me and check me in please. Ahe was gobsmacked ! I got checked in !
